Today SkyShowtime dropped the official trailer for the anticipated third season of the Swedish original thriller series Veronika. With the trailer, the European streamer promises an adrenaline-fueled look into a high-stakes murder investigation that rocks a quiet rural town to its core, as the local speedway club is suddenly thrust into the spotlight.
This season features Alexandra Rapaport as returning cast in the lead role as police officer Veronika Gren, alongside Arvin Kananian as her partner Nassir, and Sarah Rodin as Veronika’s daughter Liv. New cast members include Per Lasson,Martin Van Engers Hendrikse, and Ulf Stenberg. The six-part series is set to premiere globally on SkyShowtime on March 26, 2026.
In season three, Veronika struggles to hold her family together after Tomas’ accident while battling PTSD and increasingly powerful visions. When Nils, the son of a local speedway rider, disappears and is later found dead, the small town of Älvsbruk is plunged into a complex murder investigation. Suspicion falls on the speedway team, a biker gang, and people close to the victim as buried conflicts and long-hidden secrets surface. As the case twists toward a shocking truth, Veronika must face a life-changing decision that could determine her family’s future.

Creators and writers of the first two seasons, Katja Juras (Veronika, Gåsmamman) and Anna Ströman Lindblom (Veronika, Gåsmamman) are also returning for this season, and so are producers Calle Jansson and Mathias Gruffmans for Bigster.
Director of this season is writer, director, and musician Alexis Almström, known for Top Dog, Pink CloudSyndrome, and JJ+E.
