The Swedish broadcaster TV4 has confirmed a third season of the highly acclaimed crime drama series Fallen (Sanningen), featuring Sofia Helin (The Bridge), who once again returns as Iris Broman. Currently airing its second season, the series averaged more than 1.4 million viewers per episode in its first run, becoming one of TV4’s biggest drama hits. Filming of the new season will begin in spring 2026 in Skåne, Sweden’s southernmost region.

In Fallen, we follow Iris Broman (Sofia Helin) who, after a personal tragedy, has broken up with her old life in Stockholm and now works for the cold cases group in Malmö. Together with her team, she unravels unsolved murders that reveal dramatic life stories.

“I’m so happy that audiences in so many countries are following Fallen. There’s so much more to tell about these characters, so I’m looking forward to filming another season.
