Icelandic Film Centre Appoints Hanna Ragnheiður Ingadóttir as New Head of Finance

The Icelandic Film Centre has announced the appointment of Hanna Ragnheiður Ingadóttir as new Head of Finance, succeeding Jón Óskar Hallgrímsson who has served in the same position for seven years.

With a BA degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, Hanna Ragnheiður also holds a master’s degree in International Business. Previous experience includes roles as a financial specialist in the Finance and Operation Department of the Icelandic Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs, and as a specialist in the Department of Administration at the Ministry of Industry and Innovation.

Hanna Ragnheiður has also managed projects focusing on procedure improvements, accounting, proposal drafting and negotiation, and conducting cost and impact assessments. With extensive involvement in budgeting, financial planning, operational planning, and financial oversight, she has experience in managing finances for budgetary units of the Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs, including the Icelandic Film Centre and the National Film Archive of Iceland.
