Drawing inspiration from Scandinavia’s earliest and most influential bloggers, Requiem for Selina (original title: Rekviem for Selina) tells the story of the world’s first beauty blogger (rosablogger)—a teenage outsider whose words changed everything. This six-episode new Norwegian drama series premieres on NRK on March 15, 2025.

Of all the damn things that came with the internet, the most hated of all would come from a windswept island far to the north. Let’s just call her Selina.

Starring Elli Müller Osborne (Ida Takes Charge, Royalteen, Hope) in the lead role, the series follows 17-year-old Selina, an outsider that documents her life in an online diary. Inspired by true events.

The Story

After a blog post about Mr. M, bullying escalates. In an attempt to get revenge on her bullies, Selina accidentally changes the world—transforming from an anonymous outsider into Norway’s most dangerous role model, with more readers than Norway’s biggest newspapers.
