Number 24 is a historical drama based on the real-life experiences of Norwegian resistance fighter Gunnar Sønsteby during World War II. On the brink of the Second World War, Sønsteby’s determination to resist the Nazi occupation would not only change the course of his own life but also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of his country. Known by his nickname Kjakan (The Chin) and his codename Agent No. 24, Sønsteby’s story is written by Erlend Loe and Espen Lauritzen von Ibenfeldt, and directed by John Andreas Andersen (The Quake).
