This six-part sequel centers around the Bride of Christ, offering a closer look at the lesser-known aspects of the Knutby story. The upcoming season reveals how parish life in the village enters a new phase of even more brutal oppression and manipulation, all behind a glittering, happy facade. Abuse, arranged marriages, infidelity, threats, and feverish prophecies—the drama in Knutby escalates without restraint. Meanwhile, the media and curious psychologists begin to uncover the parish’s secrets, and loyalty starts to crack within the inner circle.

“TV4 Drama’s ambition with this series has been to explore and portray people’s need to fit in and their fear of being excluded, which is both relatable and deeply human. We have approached the subject with great care and respect for those affected. With a fantastic cast and a dedicated team who have given their all, I am incredibly proud of the result and look forward to sharing it with the audience.”
