The Nordic candidates for next year’scompetition in theBest International Feature Film category (formerly known as Best Foreign Language Film) at the 97th Academy Awards have been announced by all five countries. Iceland and Finland were the first to officially reveal their selected films, followed by Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.

Iceland

By making the same road trip that the family used to make when Filip was a child, and staging some of life’s most beautiful moments, they hope to rekindle Lars’ spark.

With nowhere else to turn, Karoline takes on the role of a wet nurse. A strong connection is formed between the two women, but Karoline’s world shatters when she stumbles upon the shocking truth behind her work.
