New ‘JerryMaya’s Detective Agency’ Halloween Film by Tina Mackic

SF Studios has announced the shooting date and the cast and crew for the upcoming JerryMaya’s Detective Agency sequel ’JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Lost Mascot‘. It is scheduled to start shooting on March 4, 2024, and the film will be directed by Tina Mackic, who also directed the previous film (‘JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Riddle of the Scorpion‘). The portraying of the characters Jerry and Maya, will this time be brought to life by the new actors Mario Mustafa and Elma Säterhagen-Lekander, with Henrik Hjelt returning as Chief of Police in Valleby.

It feels fantastic to once again dive into JerryMaya’s universe where there is always a mystery lurking. I’m looking forward to making a really scary and fun Halloween movie with lots of exciting elements to attract our young viewers to the theatres.

Tina Mackic, director

The script is penned by Michaela Hamilton and David Wiberg, and the film is produced by SF Studios in co-production with Film i Väst, with support by the Swedish Film Institute. With a scary and funny Halloween theme, SF Studios aim to release ’JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Lost Mascot‘ in Swedish cinemas around Halloween time in October 2024.

Together with Tina, we found a form with JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Riddle of the Scorpion, which we are now taking to the next level. We’re putting an additional focus on thrills and adventure to make this year’s Halloween movie for the whole family!
