The highly anticipated second season of the Swedish crime drama hit series Fallen (Sanningen), with Sofia Helin(The Bridge) returning as Iris Broman, arrives on TV4Play Plus in Sweden on December 25. The first season drew more than 1.4 million viewers per episode, making it one of the channel’s most-watched drama series.
In the sequel of Fallen, Iris Broman (Sofia Helin) is now heading the Cold Case team in Malmö. The discovery of a body buried outside Ystad, near a manor house, draws her into a complex new investigation. At the same time, a documentary crew is delving into a long-unsolved murder, and soon it becomes clear that their story and Iris’s case intersect in unexpected ways. Just as the investigation begins to accelerate, Iris receives an unexpected message from her former colleague Adam in Stockholm — a message that triggers unforeseen consequences and brings a fresh, compelling dynamic to the team.

The series is produced by Sigrid Nordenhake and Anna Wallmark at Filmlance International (part of Banijay) in collaboration with TV4, ZDF, and Film i Skåne. Lisa Dahlberg serves as executive producer for TV4, with international distribution handled by Banijay Rights.
