The acclaimed Swedish crime series The Sandhamn Murders (Morden i Sandhamn), based on the bestselling book series by author and lawyer Viveca Sten, returns to TV4 (Sweden) for a special anniversary season. Marking 15 years since its 2010 debut and spanning 25 films to date, the 11th season of the series will launch in on August 10 via TV4 Play, followed by TV4 later in the month.

At the heart of the story is the prosecutor Nora Linde (Alexandra Rapaport), who, together with police officer Alexander (Nicolai Cleve Broch) and their colleague ‘Valpen’ (Julius Fleischhanderl), investigates brutal murders in the otherwise idyllic setting of the island of Sandhamn.

The 11th season comprises three feature-length films, split into six episodes, offering fresh murder mysteries, evolving relationships, and a touch of romance, with an ensemble cast strengthened by several well-known actors.

The Sandhamn Murders season 11 is written by Sara Heldt and Johan Widerberg, and directed by Niklas Ohlson, Mattias Ohlsson, and John Sundvall. Producers are Francy Suntinger and Malini Ahlberg at Filmlance (part of Banijay), with Petra Ahlin as Executive Producer and Johanna Lind as Head of Drama for TV4 Drama.
