Netflix has revealed the launch date of the much-anticipated return of the Norwegian hit comedy-drama series ‘Pørni‘ (also known as ‘Pernille’) by actress and series creator Henriette Steenstrup (‘Beware of Children’, ‘Pørni’).
Season 4 of ‘Pørni’ will be released on the global streaming platform on August 8, 2024, with 6 new episodes. It is produced by Monster and directed by Hallvar Witzø (‘Everybody Hates Johan’, ‘Tuba Atlantic’). The previous 3 seasons of the comedy-drama series were made available on Netflix earlier this year after arriving from Viaplay where it originally had a very successful run.
Described by Netflix as a joyful, heart-warming, and relatable series with a dash of humor and, not least, chaos. The Norwegian series revolves around the middle-aged single mother Pernille (Henriette Steenstrup), also known as “Pørni,” who fumbles through everyday life with three teenagers while caring for her aging father and navigating a job within child care and faces relatable challenges aplenty.
